Actress Janhvi Kapoor is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Mr And Mrs Mahi, co-starring Rajkummar Rao. Over the years, she has garnered a huge fanbase due to her versatile performances and charming personality. She never shies away from sharing her real-life experiences or sugarcoating her feelings about particular topics. The actress made sure to give her best while portraying the character of a budding cricketer in her upcoming film. While she went through intense and rigorous cricket training sessions, she dislocated her shoulders twice which raised a lot of concerns among the crew. 

Opening up about the entire experience, during an interview with Bollywood Bubble, the 27-year-old actress revealed that her doctor declared her to be unfit to play cricket. Janhvi added, “They said that I had multidirectional instability which meant that I was the worst candidate for cricket. The Dhadak actor further told Bollywood Bubble that she managed to keep on practising despite all her injuries. They quoted her saying, “By then, we had shot all the talky portions and other scenes of the movie and only cricket was left. So Sharan (Sharma, the director) exclaimed we can’t even remove her now. So then we had a strategy. Every time we had to train to play cricket, I had to tape up my shoulders to keep it in place. I had a cap of about 60 balls but we ended up reaching 100 balls a day. I could not even play with a season ball so the team had even changed to a machine ball.”

On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in Bawaal alongside Varun Dhawan. She has Mr. & Mrs. Mahi co-starring Rajkummar Rao, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari alongside Varun Dhawan and Ulajh, co-starring Roshan Matthew and Gulshan Devaiah in her pipeline. Apart from that she is currently busy shooting for her Telugu debut in Devara alongside Jr NTR. The makers of Ram Charan’s upcoming untitled project also announced her as their leading lady.
